Use SVGMapMaker to create presentation maps you can send as an email attachment or publish on the Internet.  Based on industry standard XML, SVGMapMaker creates maps that have interactivity such as zoom, pan and layer control.

With SVGMapMaker, there is no need for special software on your web server. All maps generated contain the layer structure, styles and attributes of your data, as it is viewed in MapInfo.

Functions and Style options

SVGMapMaker has built-in functions to create live and informative maps and layout documents from MapInfo:

• Infotips can be used to display information when users move the mouse over map objects.
• Hyperlinks can be attached to any type of object, a useful method to link resources to map elements.
• Color rollover effects can be used to easily identify and distinguish map features.
• The Info tool can be used to give users the ability to retrieve the MapInfo data, exactly like MapInfo Professional.

In addition, you can apply styles to your map layers:

• Drop shadows
• Color gradients
• Textures
• Opacity settings

Viewing your Maps

SVG map files created with SVGMapMaker can be viewed using any web browser with the free Adobe SVG Viewer plug-in.
