Encom Discover 11.1 is the desktop Geographical Information System (GIS) designed especially for the geosciences, providing the tools to effectively compile, visualize, analyze and map spatial geoscience data.

Since its release in 1994, Discover with MapInfo Professional has become the GIS of choice for geologists, environmental scientists, cartographers, exploration managers and database administrators.

MapInfo Professional's robust database technology, spatial analysis tools and high-quality output capability form a powerful and reliable platform for Encom Discover's advanced geoscientific features. Discover 11.0 requires MapInfo Professional 8.5 or later.

System Requirements

Encom Discover requires MapInfo Professional 8.5 to 10.0 for Windows® XP SP2 or Vista Business SP1 (32 and 64 bit). or Windows 7.  MacIntosh OS operating systems are NOT supported.  Recommended P4 Series or later PC.  Minimum 512 MB RAM.  Quality graphics monitor of SVGA capability or better (1024 x 768 pixel screen display) recommended.  Higher screen resolution and a well configured, dedicated graphics card will improve appearance and ease of use.
