Canadian Atlas Map Bundle
Canadian Atlas Map Bundle (CAMB) is an enhanced, attributed bundle of topographic maps consisting of the NAIS 1:2, 1:7.5, and 1:30 million scale maps as will as a database of over 330,000 placenames and features, administrative regions (counties and municipalities) and grid indices for the National Topographic 1:250,000, and 1:50,000 scale maps, and Ontario BaseMaps.
The Canadian Atlas Map Bundle is an excellent dataset for macro-level geocoding and analysis. The 1:2 million scale series provide detailed provincial or regional maps. The 1:7.5 and 1:30 million scale series provide excellent data at a national level. The Places and landmarks file is a rich and extensive database of over 30,000 cities, towns, villages and hamlets across Canada as well as the names and locations of over 300,000 named geographic features, such as lakes, rivers, mountains, parks and islands.
